NTI 2026 PROFESSIONAL TRUCK DRIVER AWARD

The NTI Professional Truck driver Award recognises a long term commitment to safety, professionalism, and career progression by a Tasmanian Truck Driver. Judged by the Award Sponsor. Judges will be looking for nominations from people with at least 2 years of professional truck driving experience in the Tasmanian Transport Industry. We will ask finalists to provide a current driving record extract from Service Tasmania and copy of the Nominee’s heavy vehicle driver's licence.
Nominations may be made by anyone. Individuals and businesses can nominate themselves or be nominated for awards. Nominations must be on this entry form and be accompanied by a summary outlining why the person, business, or program is nominated.

Supporting material as identified in each section must be provided, but if you don't have this to hand, you can still nominate and we will follow up with you.

If you have an idea for a nomination and would like support to complete this, please contact TTA. We can help! Other than the Industry Achievement Award, TTA is not involved in the judging of nominations.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION
- Nominations are open to all individuals and organisations operating in or providing services to the Tasmanian transport industry
- Nominees and Nominators do not need to be members of the Tasmanian Transport Association
- Nominees may enter more than one award
- Each award nomination must be accompanied by information relevant to that award category and criteria, including a photograph of the nominee, the nominee's business, or the program/initiative
- Nominations must be signed by the Nominator
- Any decision to confer an award is at the full and final discretion of the judges and may include to not confer any award, and no correspondence will be entered
- Finalists will be advised in writing and are expected to attend the Tasmanian Transport Inudstry Gala Dinner and Awards Night hosted by the TTA. There is no charge for the finalist (1 ticket) to attend the Gala Dinner and Awards Night, however the finalist is responsible for any travel, accommodation, or incidental costs and additional tickets
- All award finalists and recipient of the award will be announced at the Tasmanian Transport Industry Gala Dinner and Awards Night, Saturday 17 October 2026, at Paranaple Centre, Devonport
The closing date for nominations is 5pm, Friday 25 September 2026.
